FakeFoxx’s RP Hand Book
Last Updated: Friday June 8th, 2018
The Synopsis
This “handbook” is for everything about the server. The rules, staff expectations, player expectations, how the server functions, jobs and roles of staff members and players themselves, help with commands and all of that good stuff. Basically it's all the information about the server from a baseline for player punishments that break the rules to very small specific details about jobs.
Player Punishments
This is a list regarding certain situations players can put themselves into that can give them a consequence. This can span from mic spamming to mass KOSing. Keep in mind, This is just a guideline for punishments. Staff members can give any punishment in any situation if they feel that the punishment is needed. If a punishment is deemed too strict, it can be vetoed by a rank higher than the person who gave the punishment. If you are trying to get unbanned, please join the discord here to appeal and DM a staff member: https://discord.gg/XgSzKKz If you have been banned from the Discord server, we cannot help you. If you feel the ban was not justified, send a friend request to Blue#0001 or fox#0069.
A list of what guns are legal and/or illegal:
Bannable Rules
Spamming
The definition of spamming is, “send the same message indiscriminately to (large numbers of recipients) on the Internet.” If you send large amount of messages in the server in a short time, this counts as spamming. We also classify being absurdly loud while using voice chat as “Mic spamming”, which you can be punished for also. There is also another type of spamming which involves spawning/placing a bunch of items or vehicles in attempt to crash the server/disrupt other players which can be found under griefing. Punishments for spamming text based chat can vary. It depends on the given situation and how much you disrupt communications. We recommend staff just to give a simple kick first. If they rejoin and continue to blatantly spam, depending on the context of what they are spamming, how big it as and how frequent it is, give them a 1(3600 seconds) hour to a 3(10800 seconds)hour ban. If they are clearly raiding from another server and/or doing it with another person. Give them both a 7(604800 seconds) day or 14(1209600 seconds) ban. If someone is mic spamming, we suggest a simple kick and if they blatantly rejoin mic spamming, we suggest a 30(1800 seconds) minute ban.
KOSing/RDMing
KoS (Kill on Sight), or RDMing (Random Deathmatch) is in its definition, really. KoSing occurs when you kill a person at the moment you see them, primarily for their loot regardless of who that player is, and RDMing is blatantly killing a player for an unjustified reason (ex: for his weapons). Joining the server to repeatedly be disruptive and do as much damage as you can by KoSing and RDMing will get you instantly permanently banned. Avoid killing other players in a way that will give you negative rep. Once you get negative reputation points, the police are allowed to stop and arrest you. Resisting arrest can get you killed. If you wish to buy back all your reputation, contact a staff member on Discord. The exchange rate is $10/1, so 1 reputation point you want to buy back would cost $10, 10 reputation points cost $100, etc. You cannot buy reputation to go above 0 reputation, you can only buy away your negative reputation to reset your reputation back to 0.
Trolling
Trolling is one of the easiest ways to get yourself permanently banned, with minimal appeal. There are many ways you can troll, but all of them fall with the same consequences. Trolling includes, but is not limited to:
JOBS
Police
To apply for the police, go here, and then scroll down to the bottom where it says “Job applications”:
The police enforce all the laws in towns, and are responsible for making sure chaos doesn’t break out. They are in charge of administering and enforcing the laws of the people, the ones ready to handle the public fray at any given moment of the day. They fine, arrest, pull over, investigate, and enforce. Police have the permission to stop and pull over any vehicle they wish for routine checks of contraband. The laws they can arrest you for are at the top of this handbook. The only time police are authorized to kill anyone is when the other person resists arrest, fires back, or is committing RDM. At any other given moment, they can only shoot to weaken, and not to kill. They can arrest you when they believe a law has been broken, but you have a right to testify or justify what you did on the Discord or in-game via trial if you think you deserve to be freed for what you did. It is also mandatory that you listen to the police if they order you for a contraband check. During a contraband check, you cannot attempt to fire back or run, or else the police can arrest you for refusing to abide a contraband check, or shoot at you if you attempt to fire back or to further extent, FailRP.. Killing any police is a major crime, and you can receive a heavy consequence for it.
If you wish to contact Police via 911 call, do /emergency [describe your emergency here.
Mechanics
Mechanics are the people responsible for car repair and resupplies. They can repair your car, refuel your car, replace your car's batteries, replace your car’s tires, and even do car enhancements, if you can find a mechanic that provides that. Most mechanics can be found at the mechanic shop by the gas station in Seattle.
Taxi Drivers
Taxi drivers are in charge of getting you from A to B if you lack funds to purchase a vehicle or if you need a quick ride out of dodge. They are managed by the Seattle Transportation Department or S.T.D.
Miners
Miners collect scrap metal at the scrap metal mining locations above Scorpion 7 (Miners can do /warp miner to get there). They can sell the scrap metal to any enquiries for any rate they wish, but they can also sell their scrap metal at the Base Supply store, for a direct rate of 1 scrap metal / $2. Additionally, miners can salvage materials for scrap metal instead of mining it all.
Lumberjacks
Lumberjacks, as said in their name, cut trees for a living. They work at a small forest-region by Seattle, but Lumberjacks can do their job anywhere there’s trees. Additionally, they can sell their wood to any enquiries for any rate they wish, but they can also sell their scrap metal at the Base Supply store for a direct rate of 1 log of any type / $1.
